Works of Lot D of Transmission Auction no. 004/2011, held by the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) on Friday (09/02), will be built by Furnas Centrais Elétricas S/A, winner of the competition, with a bid of BRL 3,020,000.00, an amount 6.65% lower than the Annual Revenue (RAP) Allowed*, an initial set by the Agency. The RAP is the recipe that the entrepreneur is entitled to for providing the transmission service from the start of commercial operations of the facility.

As the difference between the initial bid was less than 5%, there was a bidding session with speakerphone between Furnas Centrais Elétricas S/A and the Pirineus Consortium, formed by FR Incorporadora Ltda. (25.5%), CEL Engenharia Ltda. (25.5%) and Celg Geração e Transmissão S/A.

Lot D is formed by transmission line Xavantes-Pyrenees, which is 50 kilometers (km) long, in Goiás. With the construction of the line, scheduled for 24 months, it is expected to meet the load growth in the region of Goiânia (GO). It is expected to generate 135 direct jobs. Lot D was included in Auction No.008/2010, but at the time was not bidder interested in it.
