The Annual Revenue Allowed (RAP) of Lot F of Transmission Auction No. 004/2011, held by the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) on Friday (09/02), will be 13% less than the amount originally planned by the Agency. The reduction is the result of competition for Lot F, taken by Orteng Energia Ltda. The RAP is the recipe that the entrepreneur is entitled to for providing the transmission service from the start of commercial operations of the facility.
Lot F is formed by transmission line Mesquita-Timóteo, which is 24 kilometers (km) long, and by substation Timóteo, in Minas Gerais. The project aims to increase the reliability of energy supply in eastern Minas Gerais, due to the region's economic growth. The work should last 22 months, expected to generate 158 direct jobs.
