Companhia Hidro Elétrica do São Francisco S/A (CHESF) won the competition for Lot G Transmission Auction no. 004/2011, held by the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) on Friday (09/02). The company's bid was of BRL 7,004,776.00, with no discount to the value originally planned by the Agency, which was BRL 7,004,680.00. The RAP is the recipe that the entrepreneur is entitled to for providing the transmission service from the start of commercial operations of the facility.
Lot G is formed by transmission line Teresina II Teresina III, with a total of 52 kilometers (km), and substation Teresina, both in Piauí. The work should last 20 months, with estimated of generation 354 direct jobs. The line and substation will allow for the improvement of electricity service in the metropolitan area of Teresina, who has shown considerable growth in load. The projects will also reduce the risk of load shedding in the event of contingencies in the electrical system of the region.
