Lot L of Transmission Auction no. 004/2011, held by the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) on Friday (09/02), was sold by the Garanhuns Consortium, led by the Companhia de Transmissão de Energia Elétrica Paulista (CTEEP), with 51%, and partnership with the Companhia Hidro Elétrica do São Francisco S/A (49%). The winning bid was of BRL 68,900,000.00, an amount 38.07% less than the Annual Revenue Allowed (RAP) initially provided by the Agency, which was 111,255,680.00. The RAP is the recipe that the entrepreneur is entitled to for providing the transmission service from the start of commercial operations of the facility.

Since there is difference between the two lowest bids, submitted by the Garanhuns Consortium and Neonergia S/A, there was dispute with bids on speakerphone.
Lot L is composed of four transmission lines (TL) and two substations (Garanhuns and Pau Ferro), in Paraiba and in Pernambuco. TL Luis Gonzaga-Garanhuns is 224 kilometers (km) long, TL Garanhuns-Campina Grande III, 190 km, Garanhuns-Pau Ferro, 239 km, and Garanhuns-Angelim I, 13 km. The works are expected to generate 3.7 thousand direct jobs and have a term of 30 months after signing the concession contract.
