The National Energy Agency (ANEEL) extended to September 12 the first phase of the inscriptions for the International Energy Prepayment Seminar. At this stage, representatives of federal and state regulatory agencies, concessionaires and licensees for the distribution of Energy, industry associations, ministries, consumers’ and parliamentarians’ protection and defense bodies must register.
Entries can be made through the e-mail prepagamento@aneel.gov.br. The registration dates for the event were scheduled for the public. From September 12 to 18, registration will be open to society and to consumers.
The event aims to learn about the international experience on the subject, discuss the possibility of applying it to the Brazilian market and obtain support for the regulation of energy pre-payment in the country
Representatives from several countries will demonstrate experience with pre-paid energy and members of associations will also make presentations with the most current issue and possible applications to the Brazilian reality.
