The collegiate board of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) approved the tariff readjustment for the Companhia Hidroelétrica São Patrício (CHESP) distributor at a public meeting this Tuesday (9/6).The average effect to be felt by company consumers will be 7.6%if the concessionaire, CELG-D, which supplies CHESP, remains in default.If CELG-D complies with contractual obligations, the average effect will be 15.4%.
CHESP tariffs will go into effect on September 12.The indexes that will be applied to the distributor’s captive consumers’ electricity bills if CELG-D remains in default or if it complies with contractual obligations are shown below.
