As of this Thursday (09/15), all municipalities in the country should have onsite service stations of energy distributors, with the end of the term to deploy this structure of the third set of locations, with less than two thousand consumer units, as provided in Resolution No. 414/2010, which brings the rights and duties of consumers. For these municipalities, the stations should work for eight hours a week, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The time should be set at the entrance of the station.
Those with over 10,000 consumer units have had the stations since March 15, for eight hours daily, except on weekends and holidays. For municipalities that have between two thousand and ten thousand units of energy consumers, however, the deadline was June 15, with stations in operation for at least four hours daily, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
Energy consumers can refer to the date of operation of onsite service stations of electricity distributor in their municipality. ANEEL produced a list that can be found here. The list contains the name of the municipality in alphabetical order, the running time of service centers and the date of installation of the station, which varies with the number of consumer units.
ANEEL also oversees compliance with the obligation of dealers to install the onsite service centers. In the event of noncompliance with the rule, the distributors are subject to a fine of up to 2% of revenues, as provided for in other regulations of the Agency (Resolution No. 63/2004).
In the early stages ofANEEL’s monitoring (monitoring in stations in municipalities with over 10,000 consumer units and from two to 10,000 consumer units), the Agency found that nine distributors failed to install the stations on time, so they received a warning. (FA/GL/DB)
