The board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL), last Tuesday (27), declared as public utility land areas in Amapá and Amazonas required for the deployment of the Ferreira Gomes Power Plant (HPP), located in the city of Ferreira Gomes (AP). The power plant was sold in the A-5 water sources auction in 2010, with supply beginning in January 2015.
At the same meeting, in favor of Centrais Elétricas do Norte do Brasil S.A. – Eletronorte, land areas necessary for the transition of the transmission line, 230 kV, double circuit, Jorge Teixeira – Engenheiro Lechuga, with 30 km, located in Manaus (AM), were declared public utility.
The general procedures for application of the declaration of public utility of land areas necessary for the establishment of facilities for generation, transmission and distribution of electricity, for dealers and authorized bodies for purposes of expropriation and imposition of easements are set out in ANEEL Resolution N. 279/2007.
