The draft for Transmission Auction edict no.006/2011 will be in public hearing from next Thursday (10/6) to 10/17. The document was approved in the public meeting of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) collegiate board this Tuesday (10/4). Ten lots will be auctioned with 1,432 kilometers (km) of transmission lines and 13 substations.The undertakings will demand R$ 1.73 billion in investments, generating 8.7 thousand direct jobs.
The auction is projected for December 16, at the BM&FBovespa in São Paulo.The deadline for job completion will range between 18 and 24 months.The maximum Permitted Annual Revenue* projected by ANEEL for all lots is R$ 204.71 million, a sum that should drop with the competition in the auction.The PAR is the remuneration winning tenderers will have the right to for providing the transmission service after the undertaking starts commercial operations.
Transmission installations will be constructed in nine Brazilian states:Rio Grande do Sul, Alagoas, Amazonas, São Paulo, Santa Catarina, Paraná, Rio Grande do Norte, Goiás and Maranhão.Check out the installations for each lot here.
