Board keeps fines against two electricity companies

The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) kept the fines levied against two sector companies.The irregularities committed by CEEE-GT and Novatrans Energia S/A include noncompliance with the electricity service quality and not providing the transmission public utility during the 2009/2010 cycles. The decision concludes the possibility of appeals in the administrative realm.Check the table below with details on the infractions.(PG/GL).

Novatrans Energia S.A Noncompliance with arts.32 and 33 of Normative Resolution no. 270 of 2007, related to the level of electricity service quality and non-provision of the public utility transmission in 2009/2010.

The Agency decided to hear and rejected the appeal filed by Novatrans Energia S.A. The penalty levied by the Superintendence of Electric Power Services Oversight (SFE) was maintained.
