New limits on quality indicators of six companies go under hearing

Fonte: ANEEL

New limits for the power quality indicators (DEC* and FEC**) of the sets of six distributors of consumer units in 2012 will go under public hearing, in the form of exchanging documents, as decided by the executive board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) this Tuesday (10/11).

The definition of new indexes always happens in the year of the Periodic Rate Revision of companies and comprises the following four years, when the time comes for further revision. Among companies with new indexes proposed, five of them (CPFL Piratininga, Elektro, Bandeirante, AES Eletropaulo and COELCE) would have their revision this year, but as the process was extended, ANEEL will establish new rates for 2012. The limits for years 2013 to 2015 will follow the timetable to be established for the 3rd cycle of the distributor's rate revision.

In the case of Companhia Energética do Amapá (CEA), which does not have has a concession contract, the rates proposed in the hearing will be valid from 2012 to 2016. (GL / DB).
