Lands in CE and PI are declared public utility

Last Tuesday (11), the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) approved a declaration of public utility in favor of Companhia Energética do Ceará (COELCE).The land areas stretch 15 meters wide and will be used to install the Eusébio – Água Fria Transmission Line, in a double circuit with a nominal voltage of 69 kV, and extend for 20km.The line will connect the Eusébio Substation to the Água Fria Substation, located in the municipalities of Eusébio and Fortaleza (CE).

In the state of Piauí, the lands located along a 23m wide stretch were declared to be of public utility for running the Piripiri – Tabuleiro Transmission Line, with nominal voltage of 138 kV, and extending approximately 142 km.The decision was in favor of Companhia Energética do Piauí (CEPISA) and the areas are located in the municipalities of Brasileira, Piracuruca, São José do Divino, Caraúba de Piauí, Caxingó, Cacoal, Bom Princípio de Piauí, Buriti dos Lopes and Parnaíba (PI).

Also in the state of Piauí, the lands located along a 20m wide stretch need to install the Campo Maior – Barras Transmission Line were declared to be of public utility, with nominal voltage of 69 kV, and extending approximately 69 km.The areas are located in the municipalities of Campo Maior, Cabeceiras and Barras (PI).(PG/DB).
