The board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) approved on Tuesday (10/25), the notice of Auction No. 08/2011 for the purchase of electricity from existing projects ("A-1", 2011) from any source, with supplying service beginning on January 1, 2012 and the contractual term of three years. The auction is scheduled for 11/30 through the Internet, with the closure of Energy Trading Contracts in a Regulated Environment (CCEAR) in the energy amount mode.

The draft document was the subject of Public Hearing no. 052/2011, for exchange of documents, from 09/29 to 10/10, during which it received 46 contributions, of which seven were incorporated and four partially accepted. 

Among the enhancements to notice is the definition on the apportionment of costs among auction buyers registered, if the event is not held. It was also clarified that the projects that do not have no physical guarantee will have energy security enabled considering the physical certainty. The notice also provides that the energy sale ballast will be limited to the lesser of qualified energy and number of lots corresponding to the value of the guarantee contributed by venture participation, divided by BRL 5 thousand.

Other enhancements detail or explain the treatment of regulated commitments in obtaining contracts for sale of the ballast, the input procedure of participation guarantees and its relation to the ballast for the sale of projects of proponing salespeople, and the operationalization of the delivery of access passwords to the system.
