The National Energy Agency (ANEEL) will open public hearing to receive contributions to its Indicative Regulatory Agenda for the 2012/2013 biennium. The agenda includes a set of activities with their schedules for the next biennial cycle of the Agency's work. The goal is that social participation facilitates the identification of activities to be regulated and the establishment of the regulatory schedule.
The proposal at the hearing, approved by the Board at the public meeting this Tuesday (10/25), features 60 topics that could feature regulation or procedural improvement. The subjects are indicative and, after analysis of the contributions, new themes can be incorporated. The chief rapporteur of the case, Romeu Rufino, stressed the importance of social participation in the construction of the regulation and of making the acts of the Agency more transparent.
