The National Energy Agency (ANEEL) authorized the implementation of the annual rate adjustment of Companhia Estadual de Distribuição de Energia Elétrica -Distribuição(CEEE-D), according to an order published on Wednesday (10/26) in the Official Journal.
The readjustment of the company was approved at the public meeting of the board on 10/18, but cannot be applied because the company had debts related to industry charges payment. Read more.
The average effect to be perceived by consumers of the concessionaire is 7.82%. CEEE-D serves 1.5 million consumer units in 72 municipalities of Rio Grande do Sul.
In order to apply the readjustment, ANEEL accepted the split CEEE’s debt along with Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras(Eletrobrás) referring to the debt of BRL 372 million. The company must submit to the Agency, within 30 days, a copy of the contract with Eletrobrás. (AP / GL).
