Board ratifies fines to five companies in the industry

The board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) decided at its public meeting, on 10/25, to keep the fines to five companies of the sector: Companhia Energética do Piauí (CEPISA), Furnas Centrais Elétricas, Ampla Energia e Serviços S.A., Celg Distribuição and CPFL Piratininga. The fines were imposed for noncompliance with regulations concerning quality, the conveyance of information, operation and maintenance and breach of concession contract.
