Revision of SHP Salesópolis project and inventory studies are approved

The National Energy Agency (ANEEL) approved on Tuesday (11/01), the basic revised project of small hydroelectric plant (SHP) Salesópolis. The Superintendent of Hydroenergetic Management and Research (SGH) published Order No. 4279on Thursday (11/03). 

Located in the Tietê River (SP) and owned by company Água Paulista Geração de Energia Ltda., SHP Salesópolis revised its installed capacity to 1 megawatt (MW).
 
ANEEL also approved on Tuesday, through Order No. 4280 and No. 4297 of the SGH, the Revision of Studies of Jequitinhonha River Hydroelectric Inventory and Hydroelectric Inventory Studies of Cachorrinho River. In the Jequitinhonha River (MG), 11 development areas were identified, totaling approximately 1,091 MW of installed power. In the Cachorrinho River (SC), a use of 1.7 MW of installed power was identified.

With the approval of these studies, the identified hydroelectric projects became part of the portfolio of plants available for preparation of feasibility studies and basic project.
