The National Energy Agency (ANEEL) authorized the expansion of installed capacity of Usina Termelétrica Palmeiras de Goiás, granted by transfer to company Bolognesi Participações S.A. The decision was made during a public meeting of the board last Wednesday (09/11). The plant is located in the municipality of Palmeiras de Goiás (GO) and the capacity will increase from 174.3 megawatts (MW) to 175.56 MW.
The purpose of the extension is to optimize and fit the power of equipment with the engine options on the market, so that the deployment takes effect in the shortest time possible.
In São Paulo, the agency authorized the expansion of installed capacity of Usina Termelétrica Conquista do Pontal, in the municipality of Mirante do Paranapanema (SP). The plant, fueled by sugar cane bagasse, will have the capacity changed from 100 MW to 110 MW. (PG/GL).
