The basic project of SHP Garça Branca and the basic project revised of the PCH Guaraú were approved by the Office of Hydroenergetic Management and Research (SGH) by orders nº 4.354 and nº 4356.
Located in Rio das Antas, state of Santa Catarina, and ownership of company Garça Branca Energia Ltda., SHP Garça Branca will have installed capacity of 6.5 MW.
SHP Garaú, in the Juqueri river, São Paulo, is owned by Companhia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de São Paulo (SABESP) and has installed capacity of 4.19 MW.
The SGH has also decided to disapprove the basic project of PCH Barra do Mambo, Manuel Alvinho, Manuel Alvinho 2 and Cavalo Queimado, respectively, for the noncompliance with articles of Resolution No. 395/2008, regarding the development of studies or projects supported by consistent and appropriate basic studies to the stage and the size of the business, as well as the service to the good technique in a level of projects and solutions for the facilities.
