The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) approved the basic projects for the Pacheco and Oswaldo Vincintin Small Hydroelectric Plants (SHP) located in Santa Catarina and Minas Gerais, respectively.
The Superintendence of Hydro-Energy Management and Studies (SGH) published dispatches no. 4.363, of 11/8, and no. 4.407, of 11/16 in the Official Federal Gazette, formalizing the approval.
Located on Pacheco River, in the Uruguay River Basin, and owner of Da Luz Energia Ltda., SHP Pacheco will have installed power of 2 megawatts (MW).
The SHP Oswaldo Vicintin, installed on Pardo Grande River, in the São Francisco River Basin, will have 29.25 MW of power.(BT/GL).
