Last Wednesday (11/16), the collegiate board of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) approved the declaration of public utility for those lands set aside for electric energy enterprises in Santa Catarina and São Paulo.
The declaration on behalf of Rio Canoas Energia S/A encompasses land areas for the construction of a reservoir and a permanent preservation area needed for installing the Garibaldi HEP, located in the municipalities of Cerro Negro, Abdon Batista, Vargem, São José do Cerrito and Campo Belo do Sul, all in Santa Catarina.
In the state of São Paulo, land areas for installing the RAE E ETD URBANOVA Substation, in São José dos Campos were declared public utility on behalf of Bandeirante Energia S/A.(BT/GL).
