Companhia Hidro Elétrica do São Francisco (Chesf) was authorized by the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) to achieve reinforcements in their transmission facilities. Reinforcements will be deployed in six Chesf ventures, including the Jacaracanga-Cotegipe transmission line and substations Piripiri, São João do Piauí and Extremoz II. To pay for the investment, the company will have the right to portions of the Annual Revenue Allowed (RAP)* of BRL 7.1 million. The decision came at a meeting of the executive board of the Agency held last Tuesday (11/22). Check below the reinforcements and the value of the RAP.

The deadline for entry into commercial operation of these improvements is 24 months. The values corresponding to the new portions of the RAP of companies are considered from the start of commercial operation of the reinforcements, based on the life of the equipment. The RAP is established by the Agency to pay the concessionaires' investments in transmission facilities of electric power. This revenue also covers the operation and maintenance costs that companies have with these developments. (BT / DB)
