The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) board approved a public hearing aimed at regulating the methodology for determining the monthly difference in revenue and the sum of resources to be transferred to distributors for applying the Social Electric Energy Tariff (TSEE).
The hearing, approved at the last board meeting (11/29), aims at complying with Decree no. 7.583 of 10/13/2011. This mechanism determined that ANEEL should regulate the methodology for calculating the sum of resources to be transferred to each distributor while Law no. 12.212/10 is in effect, over the TSEE and also the costing method for this sum.
