The administration of ANEEL (the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency) has denied the appeal of Companhia Hidroelétrica do São Francisco (CHESF) and kept the fine imposed to the power transmission company.
The amount of the fine applied by the Agency surveillance is 1,197,000 reais. The decision does not allow a new appeal of the company in the administrative sphere.
CHESF was fined for violating the following determinations imposed by Order 1711/2010of ANEEL: the end of the Agreement for the Connection to the Transmission System between CHESF and Coelba and the establishment of the Facilities Sharing Agreement between CHESF and Afluente. (DB).
