Reinforcements approved in transmission facilities

The administration of ANEEL (the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency) approved in a meeting held on Dec. 6, 2012 reinforcements in the facilities of Companhia Hidro Elétrica do São Francisco (Chesf), of Companhia Estadual de Geração e Transmissão de Energia Elétrica (CEEE GT), controlled by Narandiba S/A, Furnas Centrais Elétricas S/A.(Furnas), Eletrobrás Eletrosul Centrais Elétricas S/A and ATE VII – Foz Iguaçu Transmissora de Energia S/A.

Chesf was authorized to implement reinforcements in Suape II and Suape III substations, both in Pernambuco. The company will have the right to RAP (annual revenue allowed)* portions in the amount of 5,300,000 reais each. CEEE GT was authorized to implement reinforcements in 10 substations and in the 69 kV Lajeado 2 – Lajeado 1 Transmission Line. The company will have the right to RAP portions in the amount of 1,270,000 reais. See here the list of reinforcements approved to the transmission company from Rio Grande do Sul.

Narandiba S/A was authorized to implement reinforcements in Narandiba substation, in Bahia. The company will have the right to RAP portions in the amount of 1,880,000 reais.
