ANEEL (Brazilian National Agency of Electrical Energy) will hold the last 2011 transmission auction on December 16 (Transmission Auction no. 006/2011). The event will take place at 10 A.M, at BM&FBovesta, in São Paulo. Previous accreditation before BM&FBovespa (Rua XV de Novembro, 275, Downtown Area), in São Paulo, will be required in order to cover the event. Professionals must send the form bellow to imprensa@bvmf.com.br up to 12/14. The credentials may be withdrawn on site, on the auction day (12/16), from 8 AM.

We request the TV crews to be on site on 12/16 up to 9 AM for mounting lighting equipment and the placement of cameras / tripods. TV stations wishing to broadcast live images and therefore require special infrastructure, please contact BM&FBovespa Media Advisory in advance in order to arrange the installation of equipment on site on the day before the auction. Transmission Auction no. 006/2011 is divided in nine lots with 11 transmission lines, totalizing 1,378 kilometers (km) and 12 substations. The projects will require R$1.6 billion in investments, creating 8.5 thousand direct jobs. The transmission facilities will be built in ten Brazilian states: Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná, Alagoas, Bahia, Sergipe, Rio Grande do Norte, Maranhão, Goiás and Amazonas. (FA / DB)
