Last transmission auction for 2011 will be held on 12/16

On December 16, the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) will hold the last transmission auction for 2011 (Transmission Auction no.006/2011). It will take place at 10:00 am at BM&FBovespa, in São Paulo.Prior registration will be necessary for covering the event from BM&FBovespa (Rua XV de Novembro, 275, Centro), in São Paulo.Professionals should send the form below to the email imprensa@bvmf.com.brby 12/14. Credentials can be picked up at the site on the day of the auction (12/16), starting at 8:00 pm.

We ask that all TV crews be at the site by 9:00 am on 12/16 to set up light equipment and to position cameras and tripods.Those stations that want to transmit live images, and therefore need special infrastructure, should contact the BM&FBovespa Press Liaison in advance to provide for the installation of equipment at the location the day before the auction.Laying cables, whether for transmission or energy, will not be permitted on the day of the event.The phone number is (11) 2565-7473.

Transmission Auction no.006/2011 is divided into nine lots with 11 transmission lines, totaling 1,378 kilometers (km), and 12 substations.The undertakings will demand R$ 1.6 billion in investments, generating 8.5 thousand direct jobs.Transmission installations will be constructed in ten Brazilian states:Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná, Alagoas, Bahia, Sergipe, Rio Grande do Norte, Maranhão, Goiás and Amazonas.
