The board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) has approved a public hearing to review Normative Resolution No. 63/2004. The standard regulates the imposition of penalties on power agents. The audience may receive contributions as of today (12/15).

The resolution deals with the penalties applied to dealers, licensees, and other authorized facility agents and electricity services, as well as those responsible for the operation of the system, commercialization of electric energy and resource management from industry charges.

The proposed amendment of the standard will address the following issues: inclusion of new frameworks, reviewing the classification of channels with regrouping, discussion of the recurrence institute; elimination of the conversion of fines into warnings; proposal to improve the criteria for dosimetry, definition of criteria update of the penalties and fines and update of the procedure recommendation of expiry of concessions and permits.
