Companhia Hidro Elétrica do São Francisco – CHESF won the contest for the the B Lot of Transmission Auction No. 006/2011, held by the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) on Friday (12/16). The company was the only one to submit a bid in the amount of BRL 14,551.872, 15% less than the Annual Revenue Allowed (RAP) initially established by the Agency. The RAP is the revenue that the entrepreneur is entitled for providing the transmission service from the start of commercial operations of the facility.
The B Lot is formed by two lines and three substations in the states of Alagoas, Bahia and Sergipe. One of the benefits provided is to reinforce the electricity supply in the southwestern region of Bahia and the metropolitan area of Aracaju and Maceió. The works must be completed 24 months after signing the concession contract, generating an estimated 708 direct jobs.
