The works of the D Lot of Transmission Auction no. 006/2011, held by the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) on Friday (12/16), will be built by Empresa Catarinense de Transmissão de Energia S/A – ECTE, the winner of the contest, with a bid of BRL 14,423,616.00, worth 38% less than the Annual Revenue Allowed (RAP) initially established by the Agency. The RAP is the revenue that the entrepreneur is entitled for providing the service.
The D Lot is formed by two substations in Santa Catarina. Among the benefits, is the integration of hydroelectric plants Garibaldi and São Roque to the National Integrated System (SIN) and the expansion of electricity supply in the region of Vale do Itajaí. The works must be completed 24 months after signing the concession contract, generating an estimated 951 direct jobs.
