New limits of quality indicators of six companies are approved

The board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) approved on Tuesday (13) the new limits for power quality indicators (DEC* and FEC**) of the sets of consumer units of six distributors in 2012.
The definition of new indices happens every Rate Revision Process year in companies and includes the following four years, when the time comes for a new revision. Among companies with new rates approved, five (CPFL Piratininga, Elektro, Bandeirante, AES Eletropaulo and COELCE) would have their revision this year, but as the process was extended, ANEEL established the rates for 2012. In the years 2013 to 2015, the boundaries follow the schedule to be established for the 3rd cycle of rate revision of the distributor.
In the case of Companhia Energética do Amapá (CEA), which has no the concession contract, the rates proposed in the hearing will be valid from 2012 to 2016. See below the new limits approved for the sets of each concessionaire:

  4. Companhia de Eletricidade do Amapá – CEA
  5. Companhia Energética do Ceará – COELCE
  6. Eletropaulo Metropolitana Eletricidade de São Paulo S/A – ELETROPAULO
