Neonergia S.A won Lot G of Transmission Auction no.006/2011, held by the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) this Friday (12/16). The company’s bid was R$ 2,278,800.00, with a discount of 43.53% compared to the Permitted Annual Revenue (PAR) initially stipulated by the Agency.PAR is the revenue to which a company has the right for providing transmission service after the start of commercial operations at the installations.
Lot G is comprised of the Extremoz II substation in Rio Grande do Norte.Works should take 18 months with the projected creation of 237 direct jobs.The substation will permit meeting the growing energy demand in the Natal’s northern metropolitan region.
