Lot H of Transmission Auction no.006/2011, held by the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) his Friday (12/16) was won by the Luziânia-Niquelândia Consortium, comprised of State Grid do Brazil Holding S.A.(51%) and Furnas Centrais Elétricas S.A.(49%). The company was the only tenderer with a bid worth R$ 7,447,440.60, at a discount of 5.20% compared to the Permitted Annual Revenue (PAR) initially stipulated by the Agency.PAR is the revenue to which a company has the right for providing transmission service after the start of commercial operations at the installations.
Lot H is comprised of the Luziânia and Niquelândia substations in Goiás.Construction should be concluded in 20 months after signing the concession contract, and it will create a projected 391 direct jobs.The line will try to meet the growing demand for electric energy and increase supply reliability in the regions of Niquelândia and Luziânia.
