This Tuesday (12/20), the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) holds Auction no. 07/2011 (A-5) for the purchase of electricity from hydroelectric, wind and biomass or combined cycle gas thermoelectric generation enterprises.
The beginning of supply from the contracted enterprises is scheduled for January 1, 2016, with the signing of Contacts for the Commercialization of Energy in a Regulated Environment (CCEAR) in the modalities by quantity of energy (water sources) with a duration period of 30 years, and by availability (wind and thermoelectric sources) with a duration of 20 years.
The auction, operated by the Electric Energy Commercialization Chamber (CCEE), will begin at 10:00 am at the CCEE headquarters located at Alameda Santos, 745, Cerqueira César, São Paulo.
