This Tuesday (20), the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) board approved the new limits for energy quality indicators (DEC* and FEC**) for the Centrais Elétricas do Pará (CELPA) concessionaire's consumer units.
The definition of the new indexes always occurs during the year for the companies’ Periodic Tariff Review and it encompasses the next four years, when it comes time for the new review.CELPA was going to have a review this year, but, since the process was extended, ANEEL established the indexes for 2012. In 2013 to 2015, the limits will follow the timetable established for the 3rd cycle of distributor tariff reviews.Six other concessionaires that were also scheduled for review this year had their limits approved last week.Check here.
