The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) announced this week (12/22) the documents with the preliminary results of Public Hearings 020, 049 and 061, held in 2011.
Hearing 020/2011 addressed the revision of Normative Resolution 083/2004, establishing the supply procedures and conditions through Isolated Electricity Generation and Distribution Microsystems – MIGDI or Individual Electricity Generation System with Intermittent Sources – SIGFE.
Hearing 049/2011 was divided into two stages and addressed the revision of Normative Resolution 414/2010, improving provisions relating to the General Supply Conditions.
The first stage of the hearing mainly addressed formal aspects of the standard and discussed specific issues such as the requirements for laboratories to perform the technical evaluation of the meters and the provisional supply in border regions.
The second stage exclusively addressed Article 218, which regulates the transfer schedule of public lighting assets belonging to electricity distributors for the Municipal Government.
Hearing 061/2011 dealt with the conditions for universalization of electricity distribution services in rural areas, considering the institution of the ProgramLuz para Todos for the period 2011-2014, regulating services concerning requests for connection not made as provided for in items 4 and 5 of Article 14 of Resolution 223, of 2003.
The College Board of ANEEL should consider these processes in early 2012. Click the links below to see the results for each subject, available on the Agency’s website (www.aneel.gov.br). (DJ/DB)
