The board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) has authorized company Bioenergy Geradora de Energia S/A to act as an independent producer of electrical energy through the establishment and operation of 15 wind farms in Central Maranhão The Ventos do Norte Wind Generating Unit, 1-10, and the Marcos dos Ventos one, 1-5, will be installed in the municipalities of Paulino Neves and Tutóia, respectively.Each plant will have installed capacity of 28.8 megawatts (MW).
ANEEL's directors also authorized company Eolo Energy S/A to produce energy in Rio Grande do Norte.To this end, the company will deploy and operate the wind farm Rei dos Ventos 4, with 28.8 megawatts of installed capacity.The plant will be located in the municipalities of Caiçara do Norte and São Bento do Norte.
The decisions were adopted at the last meeting of the collegiate board of ANEEL held this year in 12/20.(DB)
