The Board of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) has examined appeals by three companies against penalties applied and decided to keep the fines. The violations include technical irregularities noted during the technical and commercial inspection, as well as failures in the calculation of the DEC, FEC, DIC, FIC and DMIC continuity indices in the first half of 2010. The Board’s decision ends the possibility of an appeal by the concessionaires at the administrative level. Below is the table below with details of the violations: (PG/DB).
