Company Cemig Geração e Transmissão S/A (CEMIG-GT) was authorized by the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) to achieve reinforcements in their transmission facilities. Investments will be made in 12 substations in the amount of BRL 116 million. To compensate this contribution, the company will have the right to portions of the Annual Revenue Allowed (RAP)* of BRL 21.1 million.
Click here to check the reinforcements and the values of the RAP allowed. The deadline to start commercial operation of these improvements vary between 17 and 33 months. The increases approved for CEMIG-GT facilities are expected in the Consolidation of the Basic Network works in the period from 2012 to 2014, and the Consolidation of Works of the Other Transmission Facilities, from 2011 to 2013.
The values corresponding to the new portions of the RAP of companies are considered from the start of commercial operation of the reinforcements, based on the useful life of the equipment. The RAP is established by the Agency to pay the utilities' investments in transmission facilities of electric power. This revenue also covers the operation and maintenance of costs that companies have with these developments. (DB / BT)
Annual revenue allowed – annual revenue resulting from the winning bid of the tender, the concessionaire is entitled for the provision of public transmission service from the start of commercial operation of transmission facilities.
