The board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) approved today the criteria to be used for compensation to the distributor by the consumer connected to the distribution network, who intends to connect directly to the transmission network (core network*). The proposal is a result of Public Hearing No. 032/2011, which was open to contributions in May last year.
According to the decision, the consumer and the distributor must sign a contract prior to authorizing access to the core network. The contract must be approved by ANEEL and must contain the amount and method of compensation to the distributor by the specific investments made in the distribution network for customer service. They also need to set the commitment to discharge the balance of the future for the Variation in the Items of Part A (CVA) for the period the consumer used the distribution network. The consumer unit will not need to pay any values to the Service System Charges (ESS).
