The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) opened today (2/2) Public Hearing 002/2012, with the aim of receiving contributions for revision of procedures relating to the Regulatory Geographic Information System (SIG-R). Proposals may be submitted until 3/5.
The SIG-R is a system implemented by electricity distributors. It has geographic information with electrical, structural and topology parameters of the distribution systems of high, medium and low voltage, in addition to information on the companies involved.
Besides being important for commercial management, asset management and operation activities, the system constitutes a fundamental tool for ANEEL, as it reduces information asymmetry. It is also reflected in the modernization of processes and improvement of services provided to users.
The tables and text presented in Section 2.4 of Module 2 and Annexes I and II of Module 6 of the Districbution Procedures (PRODIST) may receive contributions.
Those interested in contributing to the process may send proposals to the e-mail cp010_2012@aneel.gov.br, fax +55 61 2192-8839 or to the Agency’s address (SGAN, Quadra 603, Módulo I, Térreo, Protocolo Geral, CEP: 70.830-030), in Brasília (DF).
