The National Energy Agency (ANEEL) granted in part the appeal by Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais (CEMIG) and decreased from from BRL 16.5 million to BRL 3, 3 million the fine for violations related to the calculation of indices of continuity in 2008 and 2009 and the crediting of compensation to consumers.The decision was taken by the board of the agency last Tuesday (02/07).
We also evaluated the resources of companies AES Sul Distribuidora Gaúcha de Energia S/A (AES Sul), Angélica Agroenergia Ltda and Centrais Candeeiro de Energia Ltda, which should be paid to ANEEL (directly or via state agencies), respectively, BRL 1, 19 million, BRL 126 000 and BRL 2800.In the case of AES Sul, the election for the conclusion of the Term of Conduct Adjustment (TAC) was not accepted by ANEEL.The decisions have the potential to appeal at the administrative level.Check the table below with details of the infractions.
