The notice of the first energy auction A-5* this year, Auction No. 004/2012, comes under public hearing from Thursday (16/02). The objective of the bidding is the hiring of energy from hydroelectric generation, including Small Hydroelectric Plants (PCH) and Hydroelectric Plants (UHE) with capacity that is equal to or lesser than 50 megawatts (MW), as well as the expanding of existing UHE or PCH and undertakings which have concession derived from Isolated System.
The event, set for 26/04, is held by the National Agency for Electrical Energy (ANEEL) and operated by the Chamber of Commercialization of Electrical Energy (CCEE), in accordance with the guidelines of the Mines and Energy Ministry (MME), as predicted in the ordinances No. 688/2011 and No. 514/2011.
The commencement of energy provision by the hired undertakings is predicted for January 1st, 2017.
