The Hidrelétrica Cambará S/A and Hidrelétrica Embaúba S/A were authorized to operate as independent producers of electricity through the installation and exploration of the Cambará and Embaúba Small Hydroelectric Plants (SHP), respectively.
The plants are located in the municipality of Jaciara, in Mato Grosso.The decision was made at the board meeting this Tuesday (3/20). The Cambará SHP plant will have 3.5 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity, whereas the Embaúba plant will have 4.5 MW of power.
This Tuesday (3/20), ANEEL’s Generation Database (BIG) registers the existence of 1,056 independent producers of electric energy authorized by the Agency.See the list of agents in the BIG here.
