Transmitter is authorized to carry reinforcements in its facilities

Company Companhia Hidroelétrica do São Francisco (CHESF) was authorized by the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) to perform reinforcements in their transmission facilities.The decision happened on a board meeting held last Tuesday (03/20).

The board authorized reinforcements in three substations.To pay for these investments, Chesf will be entitled to portions of the Allowed Annual Revenue (RAP) * of BRL 7 million.
These reinforcements are for the premises of the second transformer in the Paraíso substation, of a static compensator in the Tauá substation and the third transformer in the Bongi substation.
The reinforcements authorized for CHESF facilities are provided in the Work Consolidation of the Basic Network in the period from 2012 to 2014.The values ​​corresponding to the new portions of the RAP of companies are considered from the start of commercial operation of the reinforcements, based on the life of the equipment.

The RAP is established by the Agency to pay the investments by the concessionaires in transmission facilities of electric power.This revenue also covers the operation and maintenance costs that companies have with these developments.(DB)
