The National Energy Agency (ANEEL) approved at the public meeting today (04/03) the rate adjustment of Centrais Elétricas Matogrossenses (CEMAT). The distributor, however, will not be able to apply the adjustment because it is in default of payment of charges in the electricity sector.
The average effect to be noticed by captive customers is 2.62%. The new rates of the distributor become effective on 04/08.
The impediment of the adjustment for non-payment of charges in the electricity sector is described in Article 10 of Law No. 8631/1993.
Check out the rates to be applied to bills of captive customers of the distributor in accordance with the consumer class.
