Unit cost of CCC for 2012 undergoes public hearing

Fonte: ANEEL
The board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) has approved a public hearing in order to obtain data for definition of unit cost of the Fuel Consumption Bill (CCC) for the year 2012. Setting this value is used to apportion the costs of generation in isolated systems.

The CCC unit cost is annual cost of the bill, prorated for the entire consumption of the National Interconnected System (SIN) and of the isolated systems, with exceptions provided by law for self-producers and independent producer with own consumption and for low income subclass residential consumers.

ANEEL’s proposal considers an average market growth for 2012 in which the total annual cost of the CCC would be BRL 3.2 billion and the unit cost would account for 7.75 BRL/MWh.

Contributions to the hearing may be directed as of next Thursday (04/05) until 04/17, by e-mail ap022_2012@aneel.gov.br, fax (55 61) 2192-8839 or to the address of the Agency (SGAN, Quadra 603, Módulo I, Térreo, Protocolo Geral, CEP: 70.830-030), in Brasília (DF). (DB / GB)
