Fonte: ANEELThe board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) approved on Tuesday (04/03) the result of Transmission Auction No. 02/2012 and awarded to the winners the five wanted lots. Held on 09/03, at BM&FBOVESPA, in Sãoo Paulo, the event had an average discount of 38.38%. In all, 1,709 km were tendered (kmin of transmission lines, as well as 1,710 mega-volt-amperes (MVA) of power, divided into seven substations. The deadline for the work is 18 to 32 months after the signing of contracts. The transmission facilities will be built in six Brazilian states: Amazonas, Bahia, Mato Grosso, Goiás, Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro. Check here the description of the lots.
The winners of the auction shall deliver the schedule and budget for construction of facilities on 04/16. On the same date, the documents of the SPE or of the transmission concessionaire required for the concession contract must be delivered. Two days before the date to be set for signing the concession contract, entrepreneurs must submit a performance bond, which corresponds to 5% of the investment. The contracts would be signed within 14 days from the date of convocation. (BT/DB)
