The tariffs of the Rural Electrification Cooperative in the region of Promissão Ltd. (CERPRO) were extended due to lack of time for application of the methodologies of the First Cycle of Tariff Revisions of Electricity Distributors. The decision was announced during a public meeting of the Board today (April 4th).
The Cooperative should have had its First Periodic Tariff Revision on 4/15/2012, however, the methodologies are still under discussion within the Public Hearing No. 019/2011. Thus, it was decided that the tariff approved last year would be extended until the final implementation of the methodology of the 1st cycle. The measure is provided in Resolution No. 471/2011. CERPRO operates in 11 cities in the state of Sao Paulo.(PG / DB)
