Risk Aversion Curve (RAC) is a mechanism that establishes the minimum level of storage reservoirs in hydroelectric plants necessary for the safe production of energy, as a way to preserve the National Interconnected System. Established by Resolution No. 109/2002 , the Board of Management of Electrical Energy Crisis works as an alert signal for possible risks of energy shortages caused by changes in the storage volume of reservoirs of hydroelectric plants.

Those interested in participating in the process of public hearing may submit written contributions from tomorrow (April 11th) to email  ap024_2012@aneel.gov.br, via  fax to (61) 2192-8839 or by mail to the address SGAN – Quadra 603 – Module I – Ground Floor / General Protocol – ANEEL – Brasília – DF – ZIP 70830-030 BRazil (DB / JN)
